Pasta making for Teenagers
Tuesday 11th April
In this class aspiring young chefs, 13-17 year old will learn how to prepare their own pasta dough, rolling it out and 3 different pasta dishes. They will make lasagne, linguini carbonara and spinach and ricotta ravioli.
Learn how to bake light wholemeal and rye loafs as well as sweet buns and how to enhance the flavour of your breads by using pre-ferments.
Tuesday 2nd May
In the 'Pastry' course, you'll learn the tricks and techniques to make three classic types of pastry - shortcrust pastry, pate sucre (a sweet shortcrust pastry) and flaky pastry - and make three delicious dishes; a Leek and Gruyere tart, a Salmon en Croute and a Lemon Tart.
Thursday 4th May
In the 'Spanish Tapas' course you'll take a gastronomic journey through Spain's diverse regional cuisine. We will prepare some famous Spanish tapas dishes using a range of authentic ingredients from the region.
Gluten Free Beginners
Friday 5th May
In the 'Gluten-free baking' course, you will learn how to make delicious gluten-free bread, pastry and cakes. This workshop includes demonstrations, instructions and guidance on how to achieve good results with gluten-free ingredients.
Introduction to Bread Making
Tuesday 9th May
In the 'Introduction to Bread Making' course, you'll learn how to make, shape and bake three different types of doughs to create a white loaf, a Focaccia bread and delicious Chelsea buns.
Friday 12th May
In this course we'll be preparing and cooking some dishes designed for stress free entertaining. The aim of this workshop is to prepare dishes using seasonal ingredients and simple cookery techniques.
Friday 19th May
In the 'French Breads' course, you'll learn how to make three different types of French breads: a baguette, a Fougasse and a Pain aux noix (walnut bread).
Vegan Summer Flavours
Tuesday 23rd May
In the 'Vegan Summer Flavours' you'll learn how to transform ordinary ingredients into delicious and comforting dishes. With influences from the Mediterranean and the Middle East, you can create some great tasting food to share with friends and family.
Introduction to Patisserie
Tuesday 6th June
In the 'Introduction to Patisserie' course, you'll learn how to create a selection of patisserie classics. During the five hour workshop, you'll make Profiteroles, Millefeuille with crème patisserie and Glazed fruit tarts.
Thursday 8th June
In the 'Artisan Breads' course, you'll learn how to bake light wholemeal and rye loafs as well as sweet buns. You'll also learn how to enhance the flavour of your breads by using pre-ferments such as biga and sponges.
Gluten Free Advanced
Tuesday 20th June
In the Gluten-free Advanced course, you will learn how to make delicious gluten-free brioche, rough puff pastry and choux buns. You will make some brioche buns, a savoury pie with rough puff pastry and chocolate profiteroles.
Greek Summer Flavours
Friday 23rd June
In the 'Greek Summer Flavours' course you'll learn how to make some truly authentic Greek dishes. You'll make Tzatziki), Dolmades, Spanakopita, Greek salad, Moussaka and Galaktoboureko.
